there is one amazing incident he told us about, when asked about "wht he thinks about the personal element being replaced by the machines (ATM'S, I-banking), the human factor is diminishing !!!

Mr. Kamath - "to explian this let me site wht Mr. Murthy (Infy) told my Board, he said "I was standing in a queue to withdraw money from your ATM, one of our janitors was standing just ahead of me,
The Conversation (all in kannada, translated to english)

Mr. Murthy - "wht do think of this machines"

Janitor - "Sir it's ok................ but u know it's actually good Sir, it does not diffrentiates between you and me, suppose if we were standing in a bank, u were jus next to me like now, the cashier would not pay attention to me, he wud serve me, but attend you, all the time looking forward to seeing you, but this machine is good, it does not diffrentiates, be it you or me. I think it's good Sir"

Mr. Murthy cited this to the Board at ICICI telling them technology will replace the human

element somewhere down the line, it's important we adjust to such changes.

I wanted to so badly post this, tht it's 4:20 am in the morning, hav a case analysis discussion, but then i am happy tht i've been able to post this!!

i dont know who said this, but whosoever did, could not have been more right.

time and again this feeling come across and everytime my "Belief" in the same strenghtens !!!!

The worst part is i still dont give up trying to make people Happy (people could have different interpretations to this) so may be it wud be better if we could call this expectations (i try n comply to everyone's expectations).

Infct i was telling the other to someone that the only cause of pain in this world is "Expectations"
