suprabhatam- m.s.

I still don't remember when was it first that I heard the Suprabhatam - was it in Nagapur early mroning while mama would be getting or was it in Tirupati ?? either case it was amazing !!

M. S. is simply amazing !!

from an interview with M.S. -

The Greatest Satisfaction
- When asked about the greatest satifaction that a life like hers has brought upon her, she doesn't answer for a while. She remains silent, then she says hesitantly at first, and then with more conviction, "Each of us has a gift. We use it to the best of our abilities. That is nothing wonderful... What gives me satisfaction?... Well, I have never wished anyone I have known any harm. Perhaps, that has been my only real achievement."

Sri Venkateswara Suprabhatam is recited during the early hours (Brahma Muhurta) every morning to wake up the Lord from his sleep. It is believed that Lord Venkateswara will bestow prosperity in abundance to devotees who recite this prarthana every morning. - http://balaji.sudarshana.org/tirupati-history.htm

South Indian Connection! sahi hai dost..

coming back to your post, I am pleasantly surprised to know that you heard Suprabhatam..And great to know that you liked MS.

If you liked MS and would want to hear some more, I would strongly recommend Bhaja Govindam by MS. Many have tried their hands with this Adi Shankaracharya creation. I never found anyone coming close to MS.

Nice to see you dabbling with the fine arts.. :-)
